SampleSaver™ Racks

The SampleSaver™ Portable Storage Container system is a specialized container that enables a user to replace the reactive atmospheric air typically present in the container with an inert gas species. Once a sample is stored inside the inert atmosphere, the sample does not undergo reactions such as oxidation during storage and/or transportation. It is ideally suited to the preservation of microscopy samples that may undergo changes during the delay between sample preparation and analysis. The storage container can be evacuated and backfilled or purged with an inert gas. Gas can be supplied by connecting it directly to an inert gas cylinder or dry nitrogen can be boiled off of liquid nitrogen and pumped into the storage container using the Thing-A-Ma-Jug™ Cryogen Gas Supply.
Sample specific racks are available for the SampleSaver™ Portable Storage Containers as individual units or in discounted combination packages with the SS100 or SS200 containers.

	SS100-FIB	FIB Sample Rack to store SBT Fortress™ Holders (Fortress™ holders are not included). This rack can hold any samples with a 1/8" diameter pin. That would include SEM Mounts, Fortress™ FIB Holders, Tripod Polisher®, SEM stubs etc. They are securely held in place with a set screw. The SS100-FIB rack consists of 2 tiers and each tier can hold 5 samples. Total sample capacity is 10 samples.	275.00	Qty.
	SS100-TEM	Grid Box Holder Consists of 3 vented TEM grid boxes and storage rack to fit into SampleSaver™ Portable Storage Container. Each TEM Grid box holds 50 samples for a total storage capacity of 150 samples.	245.00	Qty.
